This page will walk you through some of the most important resources available and help you figure out what support might be best for you. These resources exist to help you succeed β you are never alone.
The Academic Success Center is a key resource for students aiming to improve their academic performance. It offers personalized support through tutoring, writing help, and study skill development to help you stay on track and succeed in your classes.
Coaches help you build strong habits like time management, planning, and study strategies β not just finish assignments.
When you feel overwhelmed, disorganized, or want consistency.
Advisors help you choose courses, understand degree requirements, and avoid registration mistakes.
Before registration opens or when unsure about your academic plan.
Provides support for homework, exam preparation, and understanding difficult concepts.
Weekly practice or anytime a topic doesnβt fully make sense.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) offers peer-led group study sessions for challenging courses. SI focuses on collaboration, practice, and learning strategies rather than lecturing.

The University Center for International Education (UCIE) at Wright State University supports international students with immigration guidance, employment authorization, cultural adjustment, and overall student success.

Meet your Peer Mentors βInternational students at Wright State University are allowed to work on campus for up to 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 28 hours per week during official breaks, in accordance with university policies. These limits apply to the total hours across all jobs combined.
